On November 14, the Ilia State University Center for Educational Research organized the final conference of the project “HERI – Higher Education, Research and Innovation” “Changing Policy of Higher Education: The Future of Higher Education and Research in Georgia” in Hall T102 of Ilia State University.

The first part of the conference was devoted to a summary of the project work and the presentation of the concept of the master’s program created within the framework of the project.

The second part of the conference was devoted to the CoARA project, which connects individual and collective contributions to research activities by moving to a qualitative assessment model of research activities. The conference participants were introduced to the current work of the project and approaches to implementing the CoARA principles.

The last session was devoted to a panel discussion, where a discussion was held on the future of higher education and research in the wake of the ongoing reform.
